Advice for Handling Your Overall Health & Wellness during the CoVid-19 Pandemic
LEADERS LEAD. I have a commitment to all of you to be a positive light in your world even in the darkest times. You are part of a strong community that understands how important health & wellness is to how we feel, think, and act. We all have experienced a rollercoaster ride of emotions with the spread of CoVid-19. At the same time we need to consider that it will also effect all of us uniquely. You might now be working from home or your job may be at risk. Maybe you have children that will be home for weeks. Maybe it’s your health that is of concern or it could be a family member you’re worried about. With so much pressure around you, think of the expression “put your oxygen mask on first.” Slow down, take a breath, and remember to take care of yourself first so you can take care of your loved ones later.
1. Do more of what makes YOU FEEL better…..Spend time with you loved ones. Read a Book. Listen to Music. Exercise. Stretch.
2. Do more of what makes YOU THINK better….. Write down your thoughts. Meditate. Get rest/sleep. Talk to someone who always gives you positive energy and good advice. A mentor, family member, friend, colleague, etc. .
3. Do more of what makes YOU ACT better….. Go out less, shop for what you need, and what you can store. Prepare more meals at home. Order Delivery. Avoid large Crowds. Be a little Extra Sanitary (but try not to drive yourself crazy!) and lastly, BE KIND!! So many people are under a lot of stress right now.

Why Am I Struggling to Lose Weight?
When you measure your weight, what are you actually seeing? Weight and BMI (body mass index) alone aren’t the best indicators of health because they do not distinguish fat from muscle. Instead, focus on your body fat to weight ratio, also known as percent body fat. Measuring your Percent Body Fat allows you to better your health from the inside out so you focus on fat loss and not just weight loss. The InBody device we use for our assessments divides your weight into water, muscle, and fat, so that you can see a more accurate way of monitoring your health progress.
